Pablo Pimas

Born in Montevideo in 1973, I lived in Buenos Aires and Rome before settling in Barcelona, by the Mediterranean Sea. Photography is not a practice for me, but a way of inhabiting time. In the night and in long exposure, I find a space where reality softens and the self becomes less fixed, more fragile, and open.

I look for images that move beyond names and fixed ideas, born from the free contact of the senses. I live photography as a form of play: a way of moving through time until form loosens, certainty fades, and something quieter begins to appear.
